Our research in this area

Shells

Our research covers a wide range of marine organisms and environments, and involves questions from both basic science and applied perspectives. Our work encompasses the interactions of organisms within communities, the evolutionary history of species, and the ways in which organisms are adapted to different marine environments. We use a variety of methods, and examine natural marine biological systems from the ecosystem to the molecular level.

Specific disciplines include:

  • Ecology
  • Physiological Ecology
  • Sensory Ecology
  • Biodiversity/systematics
  • Evolution
